Tuition For Plumbing Code Courses

Tuition has to be a registered apprentice or journeyman plumber in order to apply fo rthe following courses.
Apprentice plumbers need 300 hours of classroom code credit in order to apply for the mass. journeyman plumbing code examination.
Journeyman need 100 code hours of classroom code credit in order to apply for the mass. master plumbing examination.

While the school cannot infer or guarantee job placement upon completion of the program offered, the school does make a sincere effort to refer graduates to job opportunities within the industry.

Credit for Previous Training and Education

Credit is granted for courses taken at other schools. AN interview with the Director of Education is required in order to review the certificates of hours of verified written attendance. The amoutn of tuition then will be based upon a per hour attendance times the cost of per clock hour of attendacence with Old Colony Trande & Technical School. The tuition of a clock hour of attendance is derived by dividing the number of hours of the course into the tuition of the course.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refund Policy: (as Per M.G.L Chapter 255, Section 13K)

  1. You may terminate this agreement at anytime.
  2. If you terminate this agreement within five days you will receive a redfund of all monies paid, provided that you have not commenced the program.
  3. If you subsequently terminate this agreement prior to the commencement of the program, you will recieve a refund of all monies paid, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7.
  4. If you terminate this agreement during the first quarter of the program, you will receive a refund of at least seventy-five percent of the tuition, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7.
  5. If you terminate this agreement during the second quarter of the program, you will receive a refund of at least twenty-five percent of the tuition, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7.
  6. If you terminate theis agreement during the third quarter of the program, you will recieve a refund of at least twenty-five percent of the tuition, less the actual reasonable administrative costs described in paragraph 7.
  7. If you terminate this agreement after the initial five day period, you will be responsible for actual reasonable administrative costs incurred by the school to enroll you and to process your application, which administrative costs incureed by the school to enroll you and to process your application, which administrative costs shall not exceed fifty dollars or five percent of the contract price, whichever is less. A list of such administrative costsis attached hereto and made a part of this agreement.
  8. If you wish to terminate this agreement, you must inform the school in writing of your termination, which will become effective on the day such writing is mailed.
  9. The school is not obligated to provide any refund if you terminate this agreement during the fourth quarter of the program. THis section shall not apply to public and nonprofit schools and shall not affect the provisions of the section forty-eight of chapter ninety-three or section fourteen of chapter two hundred and fifty-five D, which provides a right of cancellation for certain contracts. Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of not than one thousand dollars or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.

The old Colony Trade School is located at 224 Liberty Street in Brockton. The best way to arrive is by taking exit 17A off Route 24, then take your 1st. right at the set of lights onto Manley St., follow Manley st. to the end, and take a right turn onto West Chestnut Street. You will go under Route 24 and take your first left which is Liberty Street. About 1/8th of a mile on your left side you will see white commercial buildings. Drive in the driveway to the end and we are the last building on your right side.

Veteran Administration Refund Policy

Students that enroll at Old Colony Trade and Technical School are subject to a $10.00 Registration fee if they desire a refund. A VA student is only charged on a pro-rata amount which represents the total of tuition and fees that the completed portion of the course/program bears to the total length of program.

 

 

 

 


Examination Requirements for the Journeyman and Master Plumbing License Code Course

The student should call the Board of Examiners of Plumbers and Gas fitters immediately upon registering at school (617) 727-9950 and request an application for their particular examination.

The application booklet contains all of the requirements set forth by the board.
